The objective was to design two PSA posters that would bring awareness to a fish parasite known as anisakiasis. There were a few parameters. One poster needed to be text only and one needed to be a combination of text and image. These posters also needed to be using three colors only.
This poster is the text only. Using the "2+2=Fish" joke, i was able to establish the first 2 as one half of a fish and the second 2 as a parasite instead of a fish. This is because it is no longer just a fish, but a fish with a parasite; leading to "2+2=Fish?"
This poster is the text and image. I bent the baseline of the word "catch" to make it look like it is casting a line out to fish. There is a line and hook being cast down from the C into the water in order to catch the fish with a parasite. Because the parasite is attached to the fish that is about to be caught, the parasite is now the "catch of the day" in addition to the fish.
